WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT FROM YOU?
In accordance with the terms of the publicly announced competition for enrolment in the training programme, applications are submitted via email and subsequently by providing the original documentation or through the contact form on our website. During the further enrolment process, in addition to the data obtained from the submitted documentation and from the prescribed and publicly published conditions and criteria of the enrolment classification procedure, we collect personal data of future programme participants in order to conclude an education contract.
All personal data of participants is entered into the Andragogic Joint Data Register (AZUP), a database of adult education institutions, their programmes, teachers and participants, in accordance with the Adult Education Act (OG 17/07) and the Regulations on Records in Adult Education (OG 129/08).

WEBSITE
Although you can use our website without providing any personal data, once you contact us via our email addresses, the ASCENT Academy collects information about you. Your personal data (name, surname, and email address) will be processed and stored so that we can contact you and respond to your request. The ASCENT Academy will not share your personal data with any third party or allow them access without your knowledge, unless it is necessary. The data will be used solely for the purpose of contacting you and responding to your enquiry.
The ASCENT Academy does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 years of age through its website without the appropriate consent of a holder of parental responsibility. If you are under 16 years of age, please do not send us any personal data, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address, without the consent of your parents or guardians. If we become aware that we have collected or received personal data from a child under 16 years of age without the consent of a holder of parental responsibility, we will delete such data without delay.

AUTHORISED EXTERNAL PROCESSORS
We grant access to your personal data to authorised external processors for the purpose of processing personal data on behalf of ASCENT Academy, based on our explicit instructions and under contracts that ensure a high level of personal data protection. These business associates are required to strictly comply with confidentiality obligations in accordance with this Policy, the contracts we have concluded with them, and the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation. In its operations, ASCENT Academy engages business entities as processors who handle the personal data of training programme participants, our employees, and external associates to fulfil legal obligations in adult education, accounting and bookkeeping services, IT support, and software maintenance. We exchange and transfer certain data, based on legal obligations, to public authorities such as the Ministry of Science and Education and the Agency for Vocational Education and Adult Education.
